Christine Arendas


Christine E. Arendas was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2006, after a 14 year career in the legal field as a Family Law Paralegal.  She was admitted to the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida in August 2008.  Ms. Arendas’ primary area of law practice focuses on adoptions, guardianships, and surrogacy. Ms. Arendas has handled domestic adoptions, DCF intervention adoptions, gestational carrier/surrogacy, grandparent and step parent adoptions, relative and non-relative adoptions and probate cases.

Ms. Arendas is the past president of the Central Florida Association for Women Lawyers.  She is a longstanding member of the Orange County Bar Association, Osceola County Bar Association, Central Florida Association for Women Lawyers, Florida Association for Women Lawyers, and Central Florida Family Law Inns of Court.  She is also a member of the Florida Adoption Council.  Ms. Arendas currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of A Chosen Child, Inc., a Florida licensed non-profit child

placing adoption agency.

Ms. Arendas became a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator in May 2009 and received specialized mortgage foreclosure training in 2010.  Ms. Arendas has conducted hundreds of mediations since her certification.

Ms. Arendas also volunteers with the Boy Scouts of America, Central Florida Council and is a Justice Teaching volunteer.  Ms. Arendas serves as a judge for the Osceola County Teen Court Program and is the proud recipient of the 2012 Adult Volunteer of the Year Award.

Married, with two active, growing children, Ms. Arendas places the highest value on the joy her family brings to her.  She treasures the fact that her career has blessed her with the opportunity to help build families through adoption, guardianship and surrogacy.
